Composition
The main ingredient is Calcium Gluconate.
Description
It is a colorless and transparent liquid.
Indications
For the treatment of calcium deficiency, acute hypocalcemia, alkalosis, and tetany caused by hypoparathyroidism.
Also applicable for allergic disorders, magnesium poisoning antidote, fluorine poisoning antidote, and rescue in cardiac resuscitation (e.g., cardiac dysfunction caused by hyperkalemia, hypocalcemia, or calcium channel blockers).
Administration and Dosage
It should be diluted with 10% glucose injection and injected slowly, not exceeding 5ml per minute.
Adults:
For hypocalcemia: 1g once, repeat if necessary.
For hypermagnesemia: 1-2g once.
For fluorine poisoning rescue: Intravenous injection of 1g, repeated after 1 hour; if convulsions occur, intravenous injection of 3g.
For skin and tissue fluoride damage: 50mg of 10% Calcium Gluconate per square centimeter of damaged area.
