MMO titanium anodes are made of high-purity titanium substrates coated with mixed metal oxides (such as IrO₂, RuO₂, Ta₂O₂), which give them excellent electrical conductivity, electrocatalytic activity and corrosion resistance. They are widely used in electrolysis, environmental protection and anti-corrosion fields, replacing traditional graphite and lead electrodes effectively. The manufacturing process includes titanium substrate pretreatment, repeated coating of precious metal salt solutions, high-temperature calcination to form stable MMO coatings, and cyclic operations to ensure coating durability. These anodes feature low overpotential (energy-saving), strong corrosion resistance, 2–15 years of lifespan, eco-friendliness and high current efficiency.
