Synergistic Application of Oyster Tumbler Farming
with Inflatable Buoyancy Floats
Principles of Technology Adaptation
The air cylinder float achieves depth control and stability optimization of the roller cage at different aquaculture stages by
dynamically adjusting the buoyancy. Take the Bergen sea area of Norway as an example. When the water temperature exceeds
18℃, by filling the float with compressed air (with a pressure value of 0.3-0.5MPa), the cage can be lowered to a depth of 5 meters,
avoiding the stress of the surface high temperature on the oysters. This inflatable float is made of HDPE material and has an
internal polyurethane foam layer. Even if the shell is damaged, it can still maintain 70% buoyancy and has a wind and wave
resistance rating of Puffo level 8.
Core Application Scenarios
Tidal adaptation system
In the Brittany tidal zone of France, when the tidal range reaches 4 meters, the depth of the roller cage's entry into the water is
adjusted by inflating and deflati…
