KylinCure 400 CAS No. 10097-09-3 Generic Name: 4,4'-Methylene bis(phenyl dimethylurea) Molecular Formula: C9H24N4O2 Molecular Weight: 340.42 Synonyms:  Counterpart for Omicure U 52; Hardener & Accelerator for Epoxy Resin; Substituted urea accelerator.   KyinCure 400 is a latent accelerator for the curing of dicyandiamide-epoxy resins systems. It reduces the necessary curing time and / or temperature significantly without sacrificing the shelf life of the compound. KylinCure 400 is of methylene bis (phenyl dimethyl urea), which provides the best combination of acceleration, long shelf life and maintenance of cured properties in dicy cured DGEBA.   KylinCure 400 decomposes under heat to form NCO-(isocyanate-) groups and catalytically active dimethylamine.
