This precision knurled locating pin is integrally machined using a Swiss-type sliding headstock lathe. During the machining process, the bar stock is fully supported by the guide sleeve to complete the precision turning of the outer diameter, the forming of the stepped shaft, and the machining of the end locating section, ensuring the stability of axial dimensions and coaxiality. The middle section and the tail are formed in one go using the knurling process, with clear and uniform knurling patterns, providing good anti-slip properties and a comfortable assembly feel. Through the collaborative machining of the main and sub spindles, the front and back structures are completed in one operation, avoiding cumulative errors caused by secondary clamping. The key dimensional tolerances can be stably controlled within ±0.005 mm, the knurling has high appearance consistency, and the surface finish is good, making it suitable for precision assembly and repeated plugging applications.        …
