Design Background and Design Inspiration
In the thousand-year history of the Silk Road, the Yuan Dynasty (1271 - 1368 AD) had an extremely vast territory, and the Grassland Silk Road flourished unprecedentedly.
Under the rule of the Yuan Dynasty, the iron hooves of the Mongol Empire not only shattered the banks of the Danube but also the improved post station system formed a post transportation network throughout the country and even Eurasia, bringing the prosperity of the Grassland Silk Road to its peak. It was a major commercial corridor connecting Eurasia in the Mongolian grassland area and an important part of the Silk Road. It covered a wide area with post stations as numerous as stars—where there was water and grass, caravans could move forward. Combining the ethnic minority style of the Yuan Dynasty and the characteristics of the Grassland Silk Road, Shisanchai drew inspiration to design the exclusive original pattern "The Grassland Post Road" under the…
