Sintered filter is a new type of filter materials with high intensity and rigidity. It is made of multilayer stainless steel wire mesh or metal powder or plastic/PP/PE powder through special technology of laminating and pressing. It overcomes the disadvantages of low intensity, low rigidity and instability of the metal wire mesh. Sintering is a process which produces fusion bonds at all contact points of the woven wire mesh in the vacuum environment with high temperature. Sintering maintains the uniformity of the original weave and fixes the hole size, shape and micron rating of the mesh. This sintered wire mesh can be made with nominal filter ratings ranging from 1 micron to 100 microns.
