It has high strength, high toughness, good wear resistance, good hot and cold forming properties, and good corrosion resistance. It is mainly used in nuclear reactors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, petrochemical equipment, papermaking equipment, food processing equipment, pollution control equipment and high-temperature structural components.   Chemical Composition Carbon (C): ≤0.030%. Reducing carbon content minimizes carbide formation and improves corrosion resistance, particularly intergranular corrosion resistance. Silicon (Si): ≤1.00%.
