Product details   Tri-glycerol acetate (with the chemical formula C9H14O6) is a colorless and odorless oily liquid with excellent solubility. It can be miscible with ethanol, ether, chloroform and benzene, and is slightly soluble in water. Its melting point is 3℃, its boiling point is 258–259℃, its relative density is 1.1596 (at 20/4℃), its refractive index is 1.4301, its flash point is 148.8℃, and its solubility in water at 25℃ is 5.9g/100ml. This compound is non-toxic and non-irritating. It is widely used as a fixative for fragrances, a solvent, and a toughening agent.
