309/309S Stainless Steel Round Bar – Premium Product Introduction       Grade & Chemistry   AISI 309/309S is a heat-resisting austenitic stainless steel containing 22–24 % Cr and 12–15 % Ni. The high chromium level forms a tightly-adherent oxide scale that resists oxidation up to 1 038 °C in continuous service and 1 100 °C intermittent.
