Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2 CAS NO 82249-33-0
Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2 is a plant-derived ester produced by esterification of diglycerol with a variety of fatty acids (including caprylic acid, capric acid, isostearic acid, stearic acid, 12-hydroxystearic acid and adipic acid). This complex structure gives it excellent texture adjustment ability, with a yellow paste appearance, waxy thixotropic properties, and almost no odor.

It is a plant-based alternative that is very suitable for "clean label" formulations and is also friendly to sensitive skin. It meets the standards for lanolin in the European Pharmacopoeia, maintains stable viscosity in the range of 25–70°C, and is not easily oxidized.
