Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2 CAS NO 82249-33-0 Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2 is a plant-derived ester produced by esterification of diglycerol with a variety of fatty acids (including caprylic acid, capric acid, isostearic acid, stearic acid, 12-hydroxystearic acid and adipic acid). This complex structure gives it excellent texture adjustment ability, with a yellow paste appearance, waxy thixotropic properties, and almost no odor. Unlike traditional lanolin, this ingredient is derived from natural oils such as castor oil and palm oil. It is a plant-based alternative that is very suitable for "clean label" formulations and is also friendly to sensitive skin.
