Continuously Transposed Cable is composed of  two rows of multiple enameled flat copper (or aluminum) wires, which undergo sequential and uniform transposition according to a double-helical winding transposition method (specifically, the cross-transposition method). The transposition pitch varies depending on the width of the conductor, typically ranging from 75 to 200 mm. Insulation paper is usually inserted between the two rows of flat wires.   The use of continuously transposed conductor offers the following advantages:   1) By utilizing multiple parallel wires with small cross-sections—rather than a single wire with a large cross-section—to form a winding, the winding process is simplified.
