Textured EMI Shield Cover Tray

A formed tray-style shield cover is often selected when the product requires both shielding function and enclosed upper protection over a circuit area. This model is suitable for routers, gateways, set-top boxes, and similar devices that benefit from a more complete metal cap structure above sensitive PCB sections. As one of the enclosed EMI Shielding Parts, it is made from SPTE or C7521 copper-nickel-zinc alloy and is suitable for standard operating conditions from -25℃ to 85℃. Unlike open frame structures, this design behaves more directly as a Metal Shield Cover. Its tray-like body provides a defined shielding volume and can help reduce interference from external and adjacent internal sources. The textured or formed surface may also improve stiffness while maintaining a lightweight construction.
